Tianjiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has a testing center with an area of 1,860 m2. It has rooms of: sample transceiver room, physical-chemical laboratory, stability observation room, scale balance room, one-millionth-scale balance room, reagent-grade chemical substance room, calibration room, high-temperature laboratory, high performance liquid chromatography chamber, spectral chamber, gas chromatograph chamber, aflatoxin examination room, heavy metal and harmful element test room, sample observation room, areagent room, Chinese medicine specimen room, thin layer chromatography room, a microscope room, microbial limit examination room , data room and 35 trained management personnel and testing staff.

 

The testing capabilities of the center include loading difference, particle size, solubility, appearance uniformity, general identification test, UV-visible spectrophotometry, paper chromatography, thin layer chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, pH, moisture determination, macroscopic identification, microscopic identification, ash, leachate, volatile oil, microbial limits, etc. It is equipped according to the needs of each test item, including high performance liquid chromatography, UV-visible spectrophotometer, electronic analytical balance, XP6 microbalance, thin layer imaging system, sartorius pure water system, vertical flow clean bench, vacuum drying oven, acidity meter, conductivity meter, biological microscope, electric blast drying oven, box type resistance furnace, high speed centrifuge, Chinese medicine powder machine, biological safety cabinet, portable pressure steam sterilizer, Electrothermal constant temperature incubator, mold incubator, constant temperature water oil bath, circulating water multi-purpose vacuum pump, speed multi-purpose oscillator, rotary evaporator, etc.

 

On February 19, 2016, Tianjiang Testing Center passed the examination and approval of the China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). CNAS is the only authoritative laboratory accreditation body in China. It accredits laboratories according to ISO/IEC17025 international standards. Any accredited laboratories can issue inspection reports with ILAC-MRA/CNAS joint logos, recognized and admitted by nearly one hundred organizations including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, and South Korea. CNAS accreditation indicates that the testing center has the technical ability and qualification to carry out testing according to the ISO/IEC17025 international standard. It is an affirmation of the testing center's management level and technical ability, enhances the credibility of testing as well as the company's image to the public and customers. Adhering to the quality policy of “scientific rigor, timely and accurate, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction”, the company strives to ensure the fairness of testing and accuracy of data.

 

 

 

Tianjiang and Waters Joint Laboratory

 

On October 25, 2017, the joint laboratory of “Tianjiang Pharmaceutical·Waters Chinese Herbal Extracts Quality Evaluation, Analysis and Testing” was officially inaugurated. Tianjiang attaches great importance to the use of various advanced modern technologies to control the whole process of producing Chinese herbal extracts, including raw materials testing, process and quality standards. By taking the lead in introducing liquid-phase and liquid-mass spectrometry technology in the industry, Tianjiang has made up for the shortcomings of using only one, the unprecise indicator in determining the constituents of its products in the past, and ushers in a new era of comprehensive and accurate Chinese herbal extracts.
